"REMI WILDFLOWER"

A very valuable addition to Patchwork, Effie is a well proven mare with an outstanding career in Dressage. One Novice test saw her achieve 81% (Official EA) and most others sat within the 68-75% range. Effie was well established in her work and competed right through to FEI PSG. Unfortunately she developed an unsoundness and had to be retired.

Effie has had 2 outstanding fillies for her previous owner, both by Bellario (IMP / EXP). She had a sensational De Niro (IFS/DEC) filly for us in 2020 who sadly died due to aggressive onset of Foal Rattles. She is currently empty with a Total Hope (IFS) 2022 filly at foot.

SIRE
Effie's sire is Wolkentanz I (IFS), who without a shadow of a doubt represents top dressage ability from Germany. In 2001 a Wolkentanz colt won the Hanoverian Foal Championship with fantastic scores. Only a few weeks later the chestnut colt achieved the top price at the Verden Elite Auction of Foals and Broodmares. Also in 2001 another offspring became Federal Champion in the class of the 3 yo riding horses at the Federal Championships in Warendorf. He has 21 licensed sons, 106 state premium mares, 401 main studbook mares, and 168 auction horses. He is a very high improver in riding type in his foals, and in conformation. Thus, Wolkentanz appears to be Weltmeyer's best producing son so far. In 2005, Wolkentanz received a Breeding Value Index of 157 points, with an assurance of 97% heritability, from the German Equestrian Federation.

DAM

Effie's dam is UQG Amour Lily, a daughter of Anamour  (IMP / EXP).

Anamour  was by Aalborg from the Lombard mare Lucille. He was predominantly a horse of dressage bloodlines. "...Anamour's apparent dressage ability, quality as regards presence, combined with flowing elevated movements can barely surpassed..." - a quote from Dr Jochen Wilkens, President of the German Hanoverian Society.

Anamour's dressage score at the performance yest at Adelheidsdorf rated him 5th of the 40 stallions tested. Anamour now has numerous progeny competing very successfully in New Zealand and Australia in the discipline of dressage and some very successful eventers.

Effie has been retained by stud and is not available for purchase.
